Newcastle Bangla School students have participated in the ‘combined language school concert’ at ‘Lake Macquarie Centre for Performing Arts’ along with other 14 language schools. Title of our musical drama was “Beautiful Bangladesh and Language Movement in 1952”. We would like to share this achievement with all the parents, teachers of Newcastle Bangla School and the community as a whole.
Newcastle Bangladeshi Community is proudly participating in ‘Maitland Riverlights Multicultural Festival,2018.’This year we are going to represent Bangladesh and it’s culture in almost all sectors. One of the most exciting part of this year’s event is we will be selling Bangladeshi food in a seperate stall.We hope all our Bangladeshi friends will come along with their friends and family wearing traditional outfit and enhance the colour of multiculturalism.

We hosted the Eid Anondo Adda on Saturday, 1 September 2018 at Wallsend Pioneers Memorial Hall (54 Cowper St, Wallsend, NSW 2287) at 6pm.
The event night was illuminated by the performance of Newcastle Bangla School's kids, dancers, singers and standup comedians form our community. The biggest attraction was the stage drama persented by Newcastle (Bangladeshi) Drama Team নিউক্যাসল (বাংলাদেশী) নাট্যদল.
We hosted a meet & greet event with our National Prominent Scholar Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed. The event is jointly organised with Bangladesh Students' Association of Newcastle University (BSANU) on 31 October 2015 at New Lambton Community Centre.
